Update the documentation page

This PR makes several improvements to the documentation:

• [x] Uses Mike for multiple doc versions.
• [x] Adds a quick start page for folks to learn how to use it.
• [x] Updates the API reference.

I don't plan for full vignettes to be added to the docs in this PR, but they will be added eventually.
