Fix static build for MSVC #58

Summary of changes:

AppVeyor now builds the library as both static and dynamic library.
Running CMake to build a static library failed for MSVC (#56). This is fixed now.

Thanks; we can ignore the one travis build that did not pass. I need to look into that sonner than later, but it has nothing to do with the subject at hand
