I think testing no-longer-maintained browsers can sometimes still be useful in determining interop/compat status. I remember for a while people would talk about what Presto did and that was often helpful input. So maybe removing it from the table is premature?
I think that's fine when there's a good reason. In general though I wouldn't want folks to put much effort into it, especially if it's prohibitive to them somehow.
