What steps will reproduce the problem?
Go to the planet with the living trees and Ted Rofes.
Hire him as your shops doctor.
Return later.
He is available to hire again.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
If you hire him, he shouldn't reappear on the planet.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
2.3a on Windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.
I have 2 Ted Rofes in my crew now.
