Going bankrupt with lots of equipment. #14

I had just gotten a nice new ship and I had tons of equipment, I left the
station and realized I needed fuel.  When I returned my crew's wages were
deducted leaving me in the red.  So, I was forcibly retired in poverty
(with my thousands of credit's worth of equipment) because I couldn't pay
me measly ~47 credit debt.

It would be great if you could sell old equipment and/or if officials
confiscated something random (worth more then the debt) if you went into
debt.

Uhhh that ... sucks.
The redshirts union is strong, despite their members dying all the time.

Of course its one of those things that happen once. And you can always wine to 
the
barkeep at the casino (hint,hint...)

If you ask me, the proper way to handle this is having the crew wages only get
deducted if the player's vessel has done one of two things:

1. Left a specified radius around the station
2. Landed on a planet.

Otherwise, they really haven't done anything worth a paycheck, have they?
