What steps will reproduce the problem?

Catching any disease seems to be permanent.  Do disease kits actually 
work?  Presumably, the ships doctor should use them automatically.  Of 
course, if the doctor is killed by disease, you're still out of luck.

When a diseased crewmember dies and is replaced by a new hire, the 
quarantine is still in effect.

Since the player is quarantined out of the company, it is virtually 
impossible to make money once diseased.  Of course, you still have to pay 
your crew when you dock, and you still have to purchase fuel, so debt 
continues to ammass until your ship is impounded.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

It seems there should be a means of treatment on the station (medbay?), or 
some other means of treating diseases.  Perhaps the quarantine is too 
harsh.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.1.8 on Windows XP
