I got this message in a (barren thankfully, lifeless world so that make
sense except for 'special' circumstances ;) ) cave system when I went over
a dead awayteam. Nothing else happned so purely localised & not repeatable
in my game.
(FYI probably not useful but I did succeed in picking up some palladium on
the same square)

*sigh* sorry since I couldn't duplicate it I thought that wouldn't be needed, 
and I
got blasted by pirates. Next time I get a one off bug I'll keep a copy just in 
case.
