Anasthetics don't seem to work?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. chat to an animal
2. give an anasthetic
3. 'it eats the '

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would expect it to eat the anasthetic not ' ' ;)
Also I have never had an effect from this during any of the times I tried
it (maybe just bad luck but still the message makes me think there may be
an issue)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
