Items not equipped on crew (except captain)

EDIT: OK I just checked when I reload the save (landing and taking off did
not help) all of My equipment is in place. Note that my captain no longer
has a monosword equipped as it is used by a sec team member. So when
reading the below keep in mind it was before the reload. So there is some
issue but a resolvable one sorta :) (Note that the 'E'quipped command still
does not work)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Land on a world (with use best items on or off)
2. check your 'A'wayteam screen
3. See that of all your weapons only ones for your captain are equipped

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
All of your Weapons/Armour should be equipped not only the ones for your
captain. I'm assuming this is something special about this game as
otherwise I'm sure it would have come up before. (maybe the fact I have
absolutely no armour?)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.1.8b

Please provide any additional information below.
You can get confirmation using the 'W' inventory screen, as all my other
weapons are shown here. The 'E'quipped command does not seem to work.

Thanks for the report!
Found it in about 3 minutes... a facepalming moment. 
Always Chose best btw, doesn't affect equipment. Just one use items like 
grenades,
medpacks and disease kits.

So the always choose best (off) option is the fabled way to use disease kits if 
your
also injured then? Good to know!
