Captain dies game continues

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Loose your captain but keep one other member alive

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Either game over or your captain miraculously recovering (i.e. was in a coma)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.1.8c

Please provide any additional information below.
In this case I had a green (but tough(1)) sec member survive the
asphyxiation. I was able to repopulate my crew and everything but my
captain is still dead (after base visit & saving reloading). It makes it a
little odd as 'you' are dead and I'm not really in the mood to play with
the captain down, just me though ;)

Also an odd situation with the Awayteam screen once my sec member made it
back to space was that they were listed as the doctor in that screen not a
sec member.

Hmm, maybe in these circumstances your most senior survivor should be 
'promoted' to
the captains position?

Of course captains nevere die, they are only presumed dead now and then ;)
