Stranded Ship Becomes Broken #64

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Land on a planet and find a "stranded ship" in need of repair.
2. Say "no" to repair the ship, or repair it and refuse to replace your ship.
3. The in either scenario the ship will say it can't be repaired.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
If you say "no" to repair you should get the same option to repair if you
visit it again. Or if you say "no" to replace your current ship you should
be able to come back to use it later if you wish.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.8c on WinXP

Please provide any additional information below.
I believe it would be a good idea to show the statistics of the new ship
when it asks you if you want to use it. This works when you are docked on a
stranded vessel but not when you find a stranded ship on a planet. It would
also be interesting if you can enter stranded ships on planets like >
access and find random encounters in them.

Coming back to more stranded ships I have found a much different result. When
being
asked if I would like to repair it, I say "no." The next time I approach the
ship, it
is already fixed somehow, and asks me if I would like to use it.
