1) I've noticed this problem since the very first release of the game, but it
still exists in 0.1.14. Sometimes after picking up minerals and trading them
away at the nearby space station, you'll have remnant untradeable minerals in
your inventory. They can be any kind of mineral (iron, copper, iridium, etc).
The only way to get rid of them is to drop them on a planet surface. Doing
this causes you do LOSE credits, and can even drop you into negative credits!
2) Sometimes picking up minerals planetside does not adds zero to your 'mineral
storage count'. May be related to issue #1 above.
3) When starting a new game, minerals can be a part of the random inventory
items you start out with. These minerals are untradable and can only be
dropped.
