[x] Do hidden internal cooldowns get induced when the item is equipped? Yes for trinkets generally, with many exceptions, mostly for character-wide effects like the Black Magic Weapon Enchant

Thanks to Draklian for some testing on 6/25, ver 3.4.0.44301, with Dragonspine Trophy and Shard of Contempt. They seem to induce the internal cooldown when equipped, as expected. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1513932003

Awaiting science on glaive sets, and any other exceptions.

Running a Heroic dungeon on 10/1, ver 3.4.0.45854, I swapped my off-hand Warglaive for a Rod of the Sun King for a certain encounter, and swapped back to my glaive set before the next pack. I got a Warglaive set proc only 23 seconds after a Rod of the Sun King proc, meaning the 45 second internal cooldown for the Glaive set is not induced when re-equipping the off-hand Warglaive.
