• [x] Does Shiv work as the tooltip describes - without any lingering quirks from the different Shiv from TBC? It can't crit nor the applied poisons can crit? Can it still not be dodged or parried? Seems fully functional!

Shiv was nerfed twice in WotLK:

• Combat Potency: Now only works with autoattacks (no more Shiv.) [3.0.3]
• Shiv: This ability can no longer generate a critical strike, and the poisons it applies cannot be critical strikes either. [3.1.0]

Otherwise, it works exactly like the TBC version (so it still can't be dodged, parried, or blocked; it still can miss; it still doesn't refund energy; it still might proc poisons twice (one apply, one trigger), and it's still a normalized offhand attack.)

The nerfs apply, but the "triggered" poison can still crit:

There's a buggy interaction with Anesthetic Poison:

... but since Anesthetic doesn't have AP-scaling, this is purely anecdotal.
