1 year ago There were loose tests previously that easily found Feint to proc Wound Poison, but the exact ability to proc Berserking, Trinkets, and Hack and Slash was in question. A test on 2/2 game ver 3.4.1.47925(PTR) found the following:
With a 2.6s Axe with Berserking, Vestige of Haldor, and Meteorite Whetstone equipped, with 5/5 Hack and Slash talented, over 98 feints facing my target, there was a total of: 3 Berserking Procs 0 Trinket procs 0 Hack and Slash procs
Given the 1ppm nature of both trinkets, there's a (1-(2.6/60)^98)=1.30% chance that each trinket didn't proc, or a (1-(2.6/60)^2^98)=0.017% chance neither trinket activated over 98 Feints.
Hack and Slash is similar odds, with a ((1-0.05)^98)=0.66% chance to not see a single Hack and Slash proc.
A more thorough test could be conducted, but I am confident that Feint only procs weapon-specific effects, and not character based effects that proc on successful attacks.
Unfortunately due to Feint not keeping you in proper combat, Warcraft Logs does not parse the combat log correctly. Here's a link to a spreadsheet with the relevant raw log.
