I'm glad that the site is helpful for you and thanks a lot for your hint.
You are correct that Red Had developed Shenandoah and they did a great job. However, I am rather reluctant to mention contributions to the OpenJDK projects, as there a so many great contributors.
Mentioning Shenandoah and ZCG at Zing is rather an advice to look into free alternatives to the commercial GC, that may be a reason to consider Zing or not. Maybe I should make this more clear.
One of the Azul entries says: "Apart from that, the OpenJDK contains the low pause time GCs Shenandoah and ZGC that may be an alternative."
But the Red Hat entry doesn't mention Shenandoah, despite the fact that they developed it and ship it.
