Soon needs to be able to complete all functions that node-irc currently can. Including:

[x] PRIVMSG
[x] JOIN
[x] PART
[x] RPL_TOPIC
[x] CTCP
[ ] MODE
[x] NAMES
[ ] IRCObjs (à la soontm/ts6)

WHOIS is IMHO a bad idea (wastes bandwith, limits) as we already use extended-join, account-notify, WHOX and away-notify (if available). An IRCObj-like database would be better.

@maxanton yeah, I was thinking the same thing (IRCObjs à la soontm/ts6)
