In Safari 10.1.1 use the "pinned tabs" feature with the whispeer site.
Restart Computer or whatever so that Safari is forced to load the page from cache on re-opening the browser.
The site tries to reconnect to whispeer server but fails which causes the CPU to go crazy after some time until it reaches 100% usage. Reloading the webpage stops this process.
