Class "App" Not Found #101

Getting Class "App" Not Found in my public/index.php file

Created the template as per below with artisan command: https://gist.github.com/HeadStudios/91860870a44030604986e181d86e3336

Tried to use in route: Route::get('/bdmsunny', function () { return view('gifts/bdm-landing'); })->template(BDMLanding::class)->name('BDMLanding');

after adding middleware however I just keep getting "App" not found error or NovaPage Template for "route.BDMLanding" not found. error
