Oryx: unable to save rule events and groups #118

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Action: import the attached json into a model edited in Oryx from Apromore, and
Save it As new Apromore model (i.e. save it into XPDL).

The attached json is an example of a model that cannot be converted to XPDL by
Oryx. But if you replace the rule event with an intermediate event, then this
works.
Also, when converting to XPDL, the following elements are lost:
- groups
- data objects
- textual annotations
- target elements of message flows

I'm not sure about what i have to do here, Intermediate Events with conditional
trigger is not supported by the XPDL to Canonical adapter. can you clarify what
should be done at the Oryx side?

I didn't know that. What's the cost of adding this in the adapter?

I checked out the canoniser code but unfortunately i couldn't deploy it. can
you point me to the document which describes setting up the development
environment?

There are three different versions of Apromore services in the SVN. I assumed
that the version 0.3 is the current version. after checking out the folder, it
seems that the package "org.apromore.anf" is not available in the toolbox
service, however, this package is uploaded for the 0.1 version under the
branches folder.

For the installation notes, check out the wiki here in Google Code. Regarding
the versions, Cam is currently working on 0.3. I suggest you look at 0.2 or 0.1.
