Quick addentum, I made the updated fr.json. This can be a direct swap and already translate a bunch of stuff.
Honestly just mimicking the structure of en.json
should help a lot. I've just modified it to include the action ratings. More is always appreciated.
Here's an updated fr.json based on the latst version of the en.json. I'll write up with a rundown of everything I can locate on the character sheet that could use a localization pass.
Sorry it took so long, just came back from vacation abroad. So anyway, I've listed what I could find on the character sheet model that needed localization:
Top section: 'Player Name' field name 'Class' name (which I guess is referenced from the job object compendium? The 'color' field in Attributss)
Combat tab: Top line: Die, Fray, Speed, Dash 'Select an ability' field name 'Statuses' field name (I'm guessing the Statuses that appear in the field references the status names from the icon-status-icons module, so it's not here that the update needs to happen?)
Equipement tab: Jobs, Bonds, Traits and Abitlies field names
Progression tab: XP Tracking, Relics, Burdens, Ambitions field names
Ideally the entire End Session, level reward and buildwarning section needs one too, but that one feels massive to adapt, so I'd keep that low prio.
I'll do a pass of the Bond, Bond Power, Job, Abilities, Job Traits compendiums when I can. Then the relics and summon ones a bit later. I'll probably build french compendiums myself, but a localized structure would probably be best.
Hello! I did a bit of the Localization of exocist's mod a year-is back. I wanted to move over to this system and it seems there's very little localization available as of yet. I can easily provide an updated fr.json for all the ICON keywords in the en.json, but those cover only part of the interface (the name of the Action ratings is the first to spring to mind).
So I wanted to ask of there is any further way I can help with that? We're moving out of my expertise zone, but I guess I could do a pass of the index.js and write down all terms that could use the localization? I could also (but then I'd advise someone to do a second pass before implementing) do an edited index.js including the ${localize calls?
