I just realized sonymusic.de was using the proxy service to show instagram posts of their artists. As per usual procedure, they were sent out a 24-hour notice and blocked in 0012658. The AIM of this whitelist model will be to allow priority access to only "good" hosts and deny others.
The plan is as follows:
Separate builds for igpi.ga and igapi.ga.
one of them will be available to the public without any guarantees of working. It could hit limits fast and can go down, we won't care.
The other one will be serving requests with a whitelist. Also rate limiting will be in effect. This will ensure a higher uptime than the current model.
I am still not sure how to gather info about the whitelist, but I have two options, either get users to submit request (google forms?) or let them submit a pr with their domain name in the pr (on a separate branch?)

Still not sure about the last point. This is P0.
