A toy model of metabolism consisting of 3-4 reactions (glucose import & subsequent conversion) will be integrated with the submodules changing protein counts np of the enzymes catalyzing the metabolic reactions.
My understanding is that
mRNA --> Protein : Translation module
Protein --> Null : Protein decay
Protein p1 ... Protein pn <--> Protein p1 ... Protein pm : Complexation (handling protein complexation & breakup, thereby changing protein counts)
