There are tons of issues with plasmidfinder.

  1. The git address provided in the Readme of plasmidfinder which is from the bitbucket does not contain the recommended files such as INSTALL_DB database, UPDATE_DB database, and so on.
  2. The help menu of the plasmidfinder shows a different method of installation (using docker) which must be in the git readme file not after installing one wrong version of that.
  3. INSTALL_DB script needs http://compare.cbs.dtu.dk:10080/CGE/plasmidfinder_db.git which is not exist
