Nothing Loads #120

Nothing loads on the page, it come up with an error that says "Cannot connect 
to server"

I have a somewhat similar  problem, but only with one of my two Macs:

On my MacBook iPhone Remote works well, on my PowerMacG4 the iPhone Remote 
server does not respond, 
even not when trying "View Web Page" from the "iPhone Remote" menu on the 
PowerMacG4. It just hangs: 

Input of a wrong IP or port delivers (in Safari on the machine where iPhone 
Remote is run): Safari can’t open 
the page “https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:xxxx/” because it could not connect to 
the server “xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx”.

Input of the right IP and port ( “https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:5010/”) delivers 
no response. 

My interpretation is that the server is there but cannot display the screen wit 
the buttons in the browser.

Does iPhone Remote only run on Intel Mac? Any other reason for the problems I 
encuntered on my PowerMac?

Same OS 10.4.11 on both Macs, firewall off for testing.
