If you add an entry to TrackerDB, there is no guarantee that it will result in a WhoTracks.me entry. It is most likely a bug in a strict sense, but it creates the problem that the extension cannot dynamically load the company description.
I assume, Ethyca did not exceed the traffic thresholds; unlike Plausible.io, for instance, which was added around the same time (https://github.com/ghostery/trackerdb/issues/49). The effect that even though we have a company description, the Ghostery extension will not be able to show it.

Ethyca is an example: https://github.com/ghostery/trackerdb/issues/155
