Unable to Create/Save MIDI file #19

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Click "Record" button - Dialogue box open
2. Click "OK" to close Dialogue box
3. Error message appear. File not saved.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected recording to start upon clicking "OK"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 2.1.7.8

Please provide any additional information below.
I have not been able to use it because of the error above. Otherwise, it looks 
like a great software! :)

Had the same Problem, also with MidiPiano.ini. 
The reason is, that the program installation folders are write-protected in 
Windows 7.
Workaround: start MidiPiano.exe "as Administrator".

Request to the Author: MidiPiano.ini should be saved in the User's Folder, and 
Record.mid should be saved in the temporary folder of the current user.

Peter K is right...the ini file is write protected.   So another way to fix it 
is simply to change the file attributes, by right-clicking on it and going to 
Properties.
