Game will lock up when background syncing occurs. #68

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launch game and complete one level. 
2. Switch to settings and start data synch (email, calendar, contacts)
3. Switch back to game and play a level and watch it freeze 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Android version 1.5
