I've never used the integration before. The error was with a clean setup.

Yeah, atm the python package requires both a remote connect and safety connect subscription. I submitted a pull request awhile back to remove this limitation but it hasn't been merged yet. It has been merged and should be fixed in the next version.

It looks like there's a DMCA on the toyota-na package. Does that mean there won't be another release until that's resolved?
We currently have no plans to release anything again, given the way toyota chose to handle things.
I just upgraded to today's release [2.2.0] and am getting the same error. I'm currently subscribed to EV Remote + Safety Connect. Is this still a known issue?
It has to be something in the API request/response for the legacy vehicles API. I do not have one of those vehicles so I cannot get it, if someone can send the request/response for the calls getting errors I can look at it

I pushed a new version with more diagnostic information but I would also need the full log exceptions, not the shortened version. Get v2.4.3 and go to integration, do a "Download Diagnostics" and send me that file here, but also send me the full log, so go to System, Logs, and read full log and find the full error and past that with the file
Try the latest and open a new issue if there are still issues
I'm having issues settling up the integration on HA version 2022.8.0. The integration is V2.1.2.
My initial login is successful, but I get the following once the integration loads: Retrying setup: 500, message='Internal Server Error', url=URL('https://oneapi.telematicsct.com/v2/legacy/remote/status')
