change Map Selection hover to on click?

change Map Selection hover to on click? #155

when I'm moving the mouse around I'll occasionally run it over the Map Selection button which immediately pops out the map list- can that be changed to "onClick" ? I'm finding it disconcerting, especially since the rest of the buttons are "onClick"
