Hi,

On a fresh install, after uploading one file and further deleting it I noticed 
that its digital "fingerprint" (the time stamp I presume) is still there 
(present as a record in the item_id table of the mysql database).

Also, after deleting the named file, its description items are also present in 
the item_description table.

Just an idea ... perhaps to consider in a future version to make the script 
delete those records from the database in the same moment they are deleted by 
the user from the folders ...

Cleanup script for removing invalid records is good idea, but it must be 
installed manually into cron jobs.
