not upload files that have points at the end of the name #382

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. to upload files that contain points at the end of the name
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expected to upload the file to the server but leave the server can not process 
your request

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
v 1.8.7.2 - server: win 2008, client: xp sp3

Please provide any additional information below.

Could you get debug logs? I could not reproduce this, tried uploading with 
basic and plupload uploader.

What I did find is that context popup fails with such files, but this is only 
after the file is uploaded, so we are not talking about the same issue.

What about the debug log? I can't do anything for this without some more info. 
I'll close this issue if there is no progress

shows no record in the log, I'll tell you again for example I have a file named 
test file .. doc and when I click the button up I get the popup with the 
message: "The server can not process the request "

I have seen in version 1.8.7.4 and that fixed the issue mentioned files with 
points at the end
