Deactivated email login still works

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. deactivate email login in configuration.php ("email_login" => FALSE,)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I'd expect it's no more possible to login by email address. But it is still 
possible to login via email address (instead of user name).

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Mollify 1.8.7.6

Started cleaning up the list after version 2 release, and finally fixed this. 
Will be in 2.0.3
