Temperature offset option #32

I have 9 tags that I added to Homey during the weekend. They were all placed together, on the same table. The temperature readings differed from 21 to 25 degrees. I was thinking that if the app would offer an advanced setting for offset/calibration, that would add a capability/purpose to the placed tags that was not known to me when buying the tags.

Also, if it could have a decimal point value in the reading, that would be interesting as well.

Interesting idea! I see the same deviation as well. Since i just display the reading from the JSON provided by the AP, not sure if its a good thing to build in calibration. I suspect that the Temp sensor is very cheap and setting an offset per tag is not going to be enough.

Calibration might be a poor choice of words on my part. An offset is what I was aiming for. But you might be right about the hardware quality part. That I have no idea about.
