Is this an actual issue? I have honestly never seen this before. Obviously it has happened a non-zero number of times, but if this is an odd exception it seems like a waste of dev's time to fix this issue.

It's good practice to fix bugs, even rare bugs. I think it's reasonable to leave this one open.
