Add CSD G5 for general sanctions? #1942

Pretty self-explanatory. It'd be pretty nice to have the option to mark an article for G5 deletion without needing to specify a sockpuppeteer. A little drop-down menu to pick the topic area in question would be nice too.

This is to tag Israel/Palestine articles by non extended confirmed editors for deletion, correct? Did this achieve consensus? I remember there was an RFC on the WT:CSD talk page and I lost track of the result.

I was unaware that this was a contested request that required consensus. I'll look through the archives to see if I can't find something.

Are you referring to RfC: Status of G5? If so, it seems that a speedy deletion criterion for general sanctions (whether it's called G5 or something else) is going to continue existing for the foreseeable future. In any case, the {{db-gs}} and {{db-gs-notice}} templates look like what people are going to be using.

I propose the following: G5: Created by a user in violation of a contentious topic restriction or other general sanction. For (?): Pages created in violation of a contentious topic restriction or other general sanction, with no substantial edits by others.

Field (or even a dropdown?) needed Contentious topic code (rusukr, a-i, kurd, a-a or apl).
