Composer20 fix #187

Replaces https://github.com/wikimedia/composer-merge-plugin/pull/185 as fix for https://github.com/wikimedia/composer-merge-plugin/issues/184

We tested it and it works.

The request issue is still not resolved though. https://github.com/composer/composer/commit/d52ce3c37fdfd78baa86fc20019f0b47f6d5eb92
