create user email is not send #5

registration works but no verification email is send - that means that new users currently cannot edit until they verify their user

new users are automatically confirmed and therefore have all edit rights. @AlexanderPico, @hexmode, do you have an idea on why and how this happens?

I'm guessing that we never configured outgoing mail on that VM. So, perhaps we toggled off email verification so that we could test other aspects of new accounts, etc.
