We use wooden stakes all the time - to rig most things from when working on soft ground.
We usually source these from a local farm supplier https://www.chelfordfarmsupplies.co.uk
I have no idea if this timber is FSC!
We do reuse stakes several times where possible, but their lifespan is limited because the tip gets blunt and can't be bashed into the ground many times. When they can't be used any more they generally get chopped up for firewood.
