Don't we all! (based on Audacious docs, it appears that that should work - Settings.Audio.ReplayGain.{track|shuffle|album}) but I've never had it "work" as I envision it should (dynamically adjust volumes of all songs involved relative to each other), but I have no idea how to do that or how exactly it's supposed to work. Can you elaborate a bit. In my case, I used to use normalize-audio to equalize the loudness of all my mp3/ogg files, but now most of the stuff I play in Fauxdacious are podcasts, streaming radio, and Youtube/Rumble/Bitchute videos, which aren't downloaded prior to play. Perhaps you can shed some more light on this for me? Note: If you have a specific song or streaming service that has volume or equalization noticably out of whack vs most of your other stuff, you can use the [Presets] button in the equalizer (Fauxdacious-only feature) to set a song-specific or directory-specific preset for that entry or that matches the base URL of that service!
You might also look at the new Background Music effects plugin, which perports to try to normalize loudness across entries. Otherwise, closing due to lack of user-response.
Pretty much what the title says. I want consistent audio levels without having to modify or redownload all my files the first time I listen to them.
