Konsole doesn't fullscreen after screen lock #13

Closed sethwoodworth closed 9 years ago

sethwoodworth commented 9 years ago

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open Konsole in gnome-shell.
  2. Fullscreen it with Meta+
  3. Lock screen with Meta+L (or wait for screen to time out/suspend)
  4. Wakeup machine

behavior: Konsole is full-screened, except where the title bar would be shows desktop konsole-not-fullscreen

Expected behaviour: Konsole will stay full-screened konsole-fullscreen

Gnome Shell Version 3.14.1 Debian Jessie

Any ideas why this is happening, or how I can go about debugging it?

I see the same, with at least Terminator and Thunderbird (so probably everything). It snaps back easily enough, but it's mildly annoying.

I think this happens in a few windows in 3.14 :/ Probably relevant to the issues that occur when first opening a maximized window.

Similar to some symptoms of issue https://github.com/wilfm/GnomeExtensionMaximusTwo/issues/8#issuecomment-63376895

Should be fixed with update - works happily with 3.14 in Fedora anyway
