I am running Ubuntu Gnome 16.04 (Gnome 3.18).

I have tried to install extension from https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/844/maximus-two/ as described in readme. When prompted, choosen Install, but nothing happens. When I refresh https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/844/maximus-two/ I still see OFF.

I have xprop and xwininfo installed.

Thanks for this must have extension, keep up good work. :+1:

Same here with Arch Linux + Gnome 3.20. Nothing happens after clicking on "Install".

I prepared quick fix because I can't live without this extension. you can find source code on my fork: https://github.com/k0ner/GnomeExtensionMaximusTwo. Just Zip it and install manually using Tweak Tool. There is warning that extension hasn't been installed correctly but everything works fine :+1:

@k0ner Thanks. Why not submitting pull request back?

k0ner commented 8 years ago

@umpirsky Because this is just a workaround, not a fix.
