I confirm. Gnome 3.14.0, CentOS 7

It's very annoying. It occurs very often. I have to press "Alt+F2,r" every half an hour

This occurs in many applications, but especially recent in the Libreoffice Calc 5.0.6.2

Same on Gnom 3.14.1, Debian 8. when the applications is fullscreen, I need to unfullscreen the apps and fullscreen again to remove the black area
