Thanks!! You are missing the visual c++ compiler from the Windows SDK. You can follow the instructions here or you can install the standalone version in the link
I would recommend anaconda, it makes installing packages a lot simpler and it also included the build tools such as the above compiler. https://chocolatey.org/packages?q=conda Also, take a look at ReadME under conda for a helpful PowerShell script to install the requirements

I was missing the tesseract
in the right folder (./bin/tesseract
), only later to see it says where to install in the CLI 😥, maybe need to specify it in the README.
