Does the boundary layer mixing scheme control the DSW formation?

See this discussion on the panan repo about our lack of DSW formation in the global and panan 1/10th degree configs, despite those models having the same atmospheric forcing, same vertical grid and same horizontal resolution / bathymetry as ACCESS-OM2-01.

We tested this in the panan and found very minimal sensitivity to the choice of mixing scheme used.
