Thanks for the feedback, it is appreciated. However you should be aware that this plugin is no longer being developed. Open Weather has discontinued the 2.5 API that this plugin is based on. Did you get the 3.0 API key or have you had a 2.5 key for a while? The API is still returning data although it was supposed to be removed almost 2 months ago. If it is working for you with a 3.0 key please let me know as much of the returned data (but not all) is identical to the 2.5 returned data. If that is the case, I should be able to modify it to use the 3.0 API without to much difficulty.

You should have a look at the replacement plugin I have created. It uses the Visual Crossing Weather API which in a lot of respects is much better than Open Weather. The plugin is on Github located here vc-weather. It is currently awaing approval for addition to the community plugins list but can be installed using the Brat plugin.
