Content Library Folder Auto-Generation - AB-174

After searching through Content Library, it was discovered that there are duplicates of multiple folders, with the exceptions of commas, periods, hyphens, etc.

Bug AB-174 has been logged and confirmed that when the correctly-named Preferred Name attribute value is chosen, it is, in fact, creating a brand new folder structure with no punctuation.

For example - When choosing the Preferred Account Name on the Plan Details page of the Configurator - using the drop down to find 'Mintz...'. The account names in the Preferred Account Name drop down list in the configurator do not fully match what is in Content Library.

This is ready for testing in pclient5 - I tested with a new name 'Michelle P.'s Test Folder, LLC' and the folder was created with all of the proper punctuation. I then tested on an already-existing folder with punctuation that did not yet have a 2016 plan master (Mimecast North America, Inc.) and instead of creating a new folder with no punctuation, it added the 2016 plan master to the existing one as expected. Please retest and we can schedule a move of this code to Production quickly. Thank you!

Will - was your team just creating new folders instead of searching for already-existing folders? This is not the same issue as before with the missing punctuation. Most of these are spelling errors or missing parts of the whole name.

I need to check my resources for availability. I'll get back to you on when we can complete these changes and the migration of documents to the new folders completed by.

I am certain that several of them were from already existing folders.

However, several is not 'all', so I will confirm with the BEs that none of which resulted from creating new folders.

Thanks for looking into this. I just wanted to ensure that the proper process was in place so users didn't cause this redundancy that results in a manual fix. A client whose name originally ends in 'Corporation' would not be recreated by the Configurator without 'Corporation', like with 'Boston Beer Company should be Boston Beer Company Corporation' noted above. The only issue in this item was the dropping of punctuation.

Is this smaller list the only folders you need us to merge?

Again, this is another item that will not be a problem with P2A!

I see that the folders have been merged, however, this is only half the issue. Several of the accounts in configurator still have the old, incorrect ones. See below screenshots as examples.

As noted above, the folders need to be merged, and we want to ensure that these incorrect accounts do not generate folders again.
