Wildlife Computer's website says that an update to the ephemeris data servers mean that after 2020-11-30, DAP can't do fastloc data. Not sure if this is retroactive to old data or not , because I am still able to decode our old fastloc tags. They say they are working on an update for that: https://wildlifecomputers.com/support/downloads/ but not sure about time line.
One option would be to convert the hyperterminal log format to match closely enough the favorite *.xls format that the goniometer also outputs and then use the server side wildlife computers portal for decoding fastloc (and other) data. This is more convenient in a lot of ways because it melds the data together automatically, but we do lose some flexibility doing it this way.
Also note that if you make a mistake on the wildlife computers portal and need to delete a record and start over, you need an admin to help you.
