Finish applying upgrades #11

I need to finish the DRF and Django upgrade changes.

After #20 gets merged in, the next part of the upgrade will be overhauling the models and serializers to properly support ManyToMany relationships, nesting serializers, etc. Because now DRF isn't stupid.
