Is that not OK?
It will too with other URLs like team pages etc.
It really makes no sense checking these. It has nothing to do with user
experience
nor does it really matter - nothing is written to the DB, it's purely a
displayment
error.

Ah you are right. Same thing happens when you use too high of a number for a
player:
http://test.*.com/index.php?section=objhandler&type=1&obj=1&obj_id=&obj_id=10000
*edited* Didn't want a search engine picking up the test page as it is not
permanent.
